My career as a writer and editor can be traced back to the third grade, when classmate Carl G. used to send me “love letters”…and I would send them back to him edited (red pen, of course). The fact that this also foretold my love life is another story!
Being a generalist is great! I love that fact that, in my writing career as well as with my PR clients, I am always working on something different. I enjoy stepping into a new industry, talking with the experts, discovering something I hadn’t known, and sharing this information with the world. I bring a fresh point of view to each subject, distilling it in ways that make it easy for readers and viewers to understand.
And, as a PR professional, I know how to market my journalism assignments to help drive traffic to my clients and sell their magazines, newspapers and books.
